One of the things that deeply draws me towards photography is the way a simple picture can tell a story that no amount of words can offer. At the push of the shutter release, a specific moment in time is captured for all to see -- and all to wonder...to place oneself in the context of that shot...to be a part of that captured moment.
One of my favorite blogs to read happens to be published via the Boston Globe. I love it not only for its EXCELLENT photographs (stunning, actually!) but the way they use photographs to tell the news of the world.
Today my brain has been quite cluttered up with much stress, bad thoughts, and a bunch of other junk. Looking at the photos in the link below has brought a sense of calm over me today.. Maybe they'll be a blessing to you as well.
