Today I had my day off and decided to head on down to Fort Harrison State Park. The weather the last week and a half has been crappy and opportunities to get out and explore with my camera have been quite limited.
It was cool today, mostly cloudy, but well worth the time getting outdoors. I have never been to this State Park before so I was anxious to see what it had to offer.
I am determining that I prefer walking on paths that are not paved. Something about walking on asphalt doesn’t make it feel natural under my feet. I enjoy the crunch, crunch, crunch of my shoes walking on the gravel or the ever-so-slight imprint my weight makes when I walk on mud, dirt, or fallen leaves.
Today was a good day. Took one picture. Still a good day…
